Vladimir Gandelsman (1948)

The founder and director of the project, Vladimir Gandelsman is one of the most highly-respected contemporary Russian poets. Vladimir has translated the poetry of Wallace Stevens, Lewis Carroll, Anthony Hecht, Eamon Grennan, Mark Strand, Dr. Seuss and others. His most recent work of translation is a collection of poems by Tomas Venclova. Mr. Gandelsman currently lives in the United States. Vladimir is a member of the International P.E.N. Club. 
He is the author of seven books of poetry.

Irina Mashinski (1958) 

Irina has published five books of poetry. 
Her work has appeared in many Russian magazines. 
Irina Mashinski translated poems by Robert Frost, Robert Creeley, Eamon Grennan, Elaine Feinstein, Joe Rosenblatt, Craig Czury, Carol Muske-Dukes, George Drew. 
Irina currently lives in the United States.
